Do I have to sell to the highest bidder?
Sellers can accept or reject any bid and have the legal right to approve or reject bids until the high bid reaches the reserve price. Once the reserve price has been reached, or (where applicable) the buy it now option has been selected, the seller is obligated to sell their property. In some cases, offers may be reviewed and/or accepted prior to the opening of the auction for bidding.
